Song Contest Score Card – What’s It Worth To You?

March 7th, 2010 by Lior Shamir

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking since I published the Song Contest Score Card post.

Your feedback has been tremendously valuable.  Thank you!

We’re pushing ahead with the Song Contest Score Card concept and it will look something like this:

Considering that each score card will require our judges to do a little extra administrative work, I wanted to ask you this:

In addition to your song contest entry fee, would you be willing to pay a fee for an accompanying Song Contest Score Card?

And if so, how much?

I would not pay a fee for a song contest scorecard; I would need more specific feedback and ideally a suggestion for improvement.

Personally, I think the scorecard is a FANTASTIC idea, , and would be a lovely addition to any song contest feedback. How much more administrative work would it take for the judges? Are the judges paid? I’d like to think this could be a nominal fee ($3-5) if anything, but it should be commeasurate with the amount of time the judges need to put in.
