What should I expect when I purchase a critique?
You will receive a three or four paragraph, professional evaluation of
your song and/or lyric via email by one of our panelists.
Who will be reviewing my work?
Led by Andrea Stolpe, we have a panel of songwriting experts who will be
reviewing your songs and lyrics. Click here to see who they are.
May I choose who reviews my work?
No. We allocate a reviewer to produce your critique based on the reviewer's schedule.
Can I ask the reviewer specific questions?
Yes! You can ask the reviewer up to three custom questions so that your
critique addresses the issues you care about the most.

Do I need to upload my songs and/or lyrics?
Our entry system allows you to either submit a link to a destination
where the reviewer can listen to your music and review your lyrics or
upload your material directly into our database.
Is the sound quality of the demo important?
No. As long as the reviewer can 'hear' your music properly, production
value is of no consequence.
Can the lyrics to the song be in any language?
No. Unfortunately, we can only accept English language entries at the moment.
Can I purchase a critique by post?
No. To expedite the evaluation process, all critiques are received, produced and sent to you online.
How much does the critique cost?
The critique price is £15 or the foreign currency equivalent (approx. €25 or $30).
How do I pay?
We only accept online debit and credit card payments.
When will I receive my critique?
You will receive your critique within 14 days.
